Who You Used to Be Cannot Lead Where God Is Taking You Next
Tired of recycled advice, surface-level hacks, and hustle culture that leaves you empty? Same. Welcome to Rewire and Rise with Nina Acosta, the podcast for women, leaders, and founders who've checked the boxes, built the success, but know there's still more. Here, nothing is off limits. We rip out the wiring that's kept you stuck, ditch the fake formulas, and get real about what actually changes everything in life and business. We mix soul with sass, science with spirit, and we don't forget the one who put that spirit in you. This is where you stop playing small, start thinking differently, and rise into bold, God-led leadership that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside. Change your wiring, change your world. Let's go.
Welcome to Rewire and Rise, where we stop pretending mindset alone can fix a life that is being run by survival patterns, and we finally break the identity that has been quietly running the show. I am Nina Acosta, and today we start at the beginning. Not the glossy bio, not the look-how-far-I-have-come version. I want to take you to the moment everything cracked. Let's get into it.
There is a version of you you have not met yet, and for most of my life, my decisions were made by the version of me who was just trying to make it to tomorrow. If you have ever lived in survival mode, you know exactly what I mean. You become good at managing chaos because chaos is familiar. It becomes part of your identity without you even noticing. For years, I wore strength like armor. I was the fixer, the runner, the woman who could carry it all on her back while smiling like it was no big deal. I built a life on grit because no one ever taught me peace, and you can only outrun yourself for so long before life puts up a stop sign with your name on it. My stop sign was loud, messy, and impossible to ignore.
The moment everything shifted for me was not pretty. It never is. It was the night I realized the life I had built was a reflection of a version of me I did not want to be anymore. A version rooted in fear, pressure, and survival. A version who survived brilliantly but never actually lived. That moment did not give me answers. It gave me honesty. And honesty will change your life faster than any strategy ever could.
Here is what no one tells you. You do not rise because you work harder. You rise because you stop being driven by an identity built from old wounds. Every breakthrough I have ever experienced, personally, professionally, and financially, came from one truth. Your life will only rise to the level of the identity running it. And until that night, the wrong identity was running mine. Strategy was not my issue. Potential was not my issue. Knowledge was not my issue. My identity was the bottleneck. The version of me that was scared to trust herself. The version that settled. The version that tolerated too much and expected too little. The version that was still trying to prove something she did not even believe in anymore. When I finally faced her, everything changed. Not overnight, but piece by piece, belief by belief, pattern by pattern, I rewired my way back into myself.
Most people think they are stuck because they do not know what to do. If that were the case, Google would have solved everything by now. You are not stuck because of information. You are stuck because you are not being the person who would act on the information you already have. You are trying to build a new life with an old identity. You are operating from fear instead of self-trust. You are repeating patterns that once kept you safe but now keep you small. And if anything in you feels called out, good. This podcast is for the people who do not need more motivation. They need a new identity. High performers, leaders, founders, coaches, and anyone who is done being driven by the old story and is ready to build a life from alignment instead of survival. Your nervous system will always choose familiar over better unless you consciously teach it otherwise. That is the rewiring. And that is the rise. And sometimes God is trying to take you somewhere your old identity cannot go. That is why the version of you that survived cannot be the version that leads you forward.
So why this podcast? Why now? Because there is a massive gap between who you are and who you are meant to be. And everything you want, peace, clarity, authority, success, confidence, and freedom lives on the other side of that gap. Rewire and Rise is the bridge. This podcast is not about motivation. It is about liberation. Liberation from patterns you did not choose, identities you inherited, and stories you unconsciously repeated. We are going to talk identity rewiring, emotional mastery, nervous system alignment, self-trust, decision-making, high performance without the burnout, and the psychological patterns that sabotage your growth. This podcast is your mirror, your manual, your pattern interrupt, and your permission slip.
Every week, I will give you two things: the truth, even when it stings, and a way forward that is grounded, actionable, and sustainable. Not fluffy, not overcomplicated, not good vibes only. You will hear real stories, real neuroscience, and real strategy from my own life and from the work I have done with founders, leaders, and high performers who were tired of living below their potential. My job is to help you meet the version of you who does not negotiate with fear, the version who leads, the version who decides, the version who rises with intention instead of defaulting to old patterns. And if you are ready for that, you are in the right place. This is episode one, the beginning of the rewiring, the moment you stop pretending you are not ready because you are, and the old identity is not invited anymore.
At the end of the day, God is the foundation of everything. I am far from perfect on this human plane, but I am perfect in His eyes. And when you build from that place, you rise differently. You rise stronger. You rise aligned. If this episode spoke to you, make sure you subscribe so you do not miss the next chapter in your rise. Thank you for being here. Keep rewiring. Keep rising. Bye for now.
